CNMV Issues Warning to the Public on Unregistered Firm
The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) has issued a public warning concerning Bitcoin Trader, an entity operating through the website listed below.
Pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 18 of the Securities Markets and Investment Services Act (Law 6/2023, of 17 March), the CNMV warns investors and members of the public that this entity is not authorised to provide regulated investment services.

Bitcoin Trader Is Not Authorised to Provide Investment Services
According to the CNMV warning, Bitcoin Trader is not authorised to provide investment services or carry out regulated investment activities subject to the restrictions established under Article 129 of the Spanish Securities Markets and Investment Services Act.
The warning applies to the financial instruments detailed in Article 2 of the Act, including activities involving foreign currency transactions.
Bitcoin Trader Is Not Authorised to Provide Crypto-Asset Services
The CNMV also states that Bitcoin Trader is not authorised to carry out activities reserved for crypto-asset service providers.
These activities are detailed in Sections 16–26 of the first paragraph of Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 of 31 May 2023 on markets in crypto-assets.
